IT for healthcare that keeps patients seen and records protected.

Healthcare IT has one job that comes before every other: keep clinicians seeing patients and keep patient data where it belongs. CloudSprint builds and runs practice technology with HIPAA as the default setting, not an afterthought.

The challenges we see

What keeps healthcare leaders up at night.

HIPAA is a standing obligation, not a project

Risk analyses, access controls, audit logs, and business associate agreements have to be maintained continuously. Most practices have a binder from years ago and nothing since.

EHR performance is patient throughput

A slow EHR or a dropped Wi-Fi connection in an exam room costs minutes per visit. Multiply that across a day and it is real revenue.

Devices everywhere, owned by nobody

Tablets, imaging systems, printers, and vendor-managed equipment all sit on the same network and rarely get patched.

Ransomware targets healthcare on purpose

Attackers know a practice will pay to get patient records back. Backups that have never been restored are the usual weak point.

Standards

Compliance and frameworks we work to.

  • HIPAA Security and Privacy Rules
  • HITECH breach notification
  • NIST CSF and HHS 405(d) Health Industry Cybersecurity Practices
  • Business associate agreement with CloudSprint included

Frequently asked questions

Will you sign a business associate agreement?

Yes. A BAA is standard in every healthcare engagement, and we hold our own vendors to the same standard.

Do you support our EHR vendor?

We support the infrastructure, endpoints, and network the EHR runs on and coordinate directly with the vendor on application issues so your staff does not have to.

How do you handle patching during clinic hours?

Clinical workstations patch on a schedule you approve, typically overnight, with reboots deferred until the device is idle.
